IN-BOND TRANSPORTATION ENTRIES

In-bond shipments are shipments transiting the U.S. that are not intended to enter into the commerce of the U.S..

Immediate Transportations (“IT”) allow merchandise to be transported under bond from the port of entry to another port without the need to file an entry, nor pay duties, taxes or subject the cargo to examination.
Immediate Exportations (“IE”) are a means by which an entry of foreign merchandise arriving at one port can be re-exported out of the same district port without the payment of duties
Transportation & Exportations (“T&E”) are used when merchandise arrives into the U.S., and then transported in-bond to another U.S. port for re-export.
