BONDED WAREHOUSING AND TRUCKING

Bonded warehouses are designated and authorized by CBP to store imported cargo without the payment of duties for a certain period of time. Depending on the type of warehouse, cargo can be kept in-bond for upwards of five years, manipulated, assembled, repackaged, etc.

In-Bond Export Consolidator (“IBEC”)

An In-Bond Export Consolidator (“IBEC”) is authorized to receive and consolidate in-bond cargo for cartage, transportation and exportation.

Container Freight Station (“CFS”)

A Container Freight Station (“CFS”) is a warehouse location designated for the receipt and short term storage (i.e., 15 calendar days) of merchandise pending exportation, in-bond cartage, entry into a bonded warehouse or ultimately nationalized.

Bonded Warehouse

Our Class 2, 3 and 8 bonded warehouse facility allows importers to import and warehouse their cargo duty-free. Cargo can be stored for a short term, or for as long as 5 years, while waiting to be re-exported or ultimately nationalized. While in our bonded facility, cargo may be manipulated, repacked, segregated and re-labeled.

Bonded and Inland Trucking

A bonded trucker is authorized by CBP to transport merchandise on which duties have not been paid. LGCC offers a full range of local and over-the-road trucking services, including pick-ups and deliveries from airports and seaports, FCL/LCL loads, and bonded trucking transfers.
